To start using Alavi, what do I need to do?

You just need to complete Alavi’s simple onboarding process, which requires you to: register using your email or social logins (Facebook/Google), connect your brand’s Facebook Ad Account and Fan Page (give Alavi the ‘create ads’ permission), and select the Facebook Pixel for your products.

What is required to use Alavi?

Your brand should have an active Facebook Ad Account, Fan Page and Pixel.

To get Alavi’s Optimization Recommendations, your brand’s Ad Account should ideally have at least 10 ad sets that have been active for more than 4 days, so the Recommendation Engine has enough data to function properly. But if you are unable to get recommendations, don’t worry because the data tables in Alavi’s Optimize section provide all the information you need to make well-informed decisions.

To see how engaged your customers and fans are with targeting options in Alavi Insights, your Fan Page needs to have had a 1000+ interactions (likes, comments etc.) and your Pixel should have recorded a 1000+ purchases. If you don’t meet these minimums, you can still use all the other metrics provided by Alavi Insights, like competitor fan engagement and audience overlap, to assess whether a targeting option is right for your brand.

How quickly does Alavi start working?

If you meet the minimum requirements for active ad sets (see ‘What is required to use Alavi?’), you will see Alavi’s Optimization Recommendations as soon as you finish onboarding. To see how engaged your customers and fans are with targeting options in Alavi Insights, this will also be available immediately after onboarding if you have sufficient fan interactions and purchases (see ‘What is required to use Alavi?’) as well as previously used Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences in Facebook (if you have not used these, Alavi may require up to 48 hours to set these up for you).

Do I need to connect my brand’s Facebook Ad Account, Fan Page and Pixel?

Yes. Alavi’s Optimization Recommendations are based on data that can only be accessed through your brand’s Facebook Ad Account. In Alavi Insights, Customer and Fan Engagement information requires a connection to your brand’s Fan Page (with ‘create ads’ permission) and Pixel.

Will Alavi makes changes to my Campaigns, Ad Sets and Ads?

No, Alavi will never make changes to your account or your advertising. It will only extract data for processing and reporting.

How many users can I add to my Alavi Smart subscription?

Up to 3 users from the same brand can register profiles for a single Alavi Smart subscription and use Alavi simultaneously. If require more than 3 users, please contact us.

How secure is

Alavi runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS), one of the most secure and trusted cloud computing environments in the world.

Does Alavi store your Facebook Ad Account data?

Alavi does not save any data from your Facebook Ad Account. All the data Alavi uses is processed in real-time and is not stored on any of its data bases.

What is Alavi’s refund policy?

Alavi does not offer refunds as it offers free versions, so users can use it before making a purchase. If you need to cancel a subscription, please contact us.
